Feline and classical, a design of rare purity with almost eccentric finishes, and an intensity that thrilled us. We couldn't wait to present it, and our usual curiosity stirred a question: who will see themselves in this? Who will feel what we felt the moment we first saw it? We were more than certain someone would recognise it at first glance. When we brought these three elements together — the engraving, the bezel, the base — the jewel was there, in our hands. Bold and ironic at once. We displayed it immediately, and it carried an originality that if before had only been imagined in our creative fervour — was now realised, and its expressiveness so deeply moving as to surpass every expectation we had. The lion of this intaglio — inspired by Canova's sculptural mastery — occupies the oval with a majestic, collected presence: the powerful body, the thick mane. This royalty meets another natural force — the spotted ground, vibrant and instinctive, wrapping the band with the rhythm of a living coat. Two natures on the same ring: one sculpted and ancient, the other woven into the metal. The cameo colours declare four different temperaments of the same royalty. Pale blue is the most gentle contrast — soft and ethereal with the Jaguar, the animal in this relief acquires a luminous, serene pride, like the calm of a sky before dawn. Yellow amplifies the coat's energy with immediacy — a chromatic accord, the most natural light, as if under the savannah sun. With black it becomes almost a silhouette in which, more than the feline's features, one senses power and magnetism on the spotted base. Sand dissolves the boundary between subject and pattern — tone on tone, the lion settling into the surface as if it had always been part of it, an ancient, textured relief. The ring's physicality matches the subject: the weight of the bronze is real, the bezel holds the oval with precision, the quality of the craftsmanship felt at once and fully expressing the character of the jewel and of whoever chooses to wear it.

One of two crouching lions of the monumental tomb of Clement XIII in st. Peter’s Basilica, made by Antonio Canova. In the symbolism of the elements associated with the fire the lion represents courage, the supreme power, nobility and pride. It acts as a solar symbol, and is also dedicated to solar deities (for example, the Vedic god Mitra). The form of a lioness is to emphasize the concept of motherhood along with sensuality; In fact, the lioness in many cultures is the sacred bird of the goddess-mother (for example, Ishtar was depicted standing on a lion, as well as those involved with the chariot of Cybele).
