Julius Caesar on the round bezel of the AURA ring — strategist, tactician, the man who thought his way to where he wanted to be. The profile emerges with the sculptural sharpness of ancient coins: high brow, the laurel crown, the strong neck, the star and the staff — the 18kt gold-plated bronze holds every detail of the intaglio, and the plexiglass base changes the experience of the jewel entirely.
The round bezel distributes reflections evenly, light circling the relief evenly — light circles the profile rather than cutting across it. The plexiglass shank fits the hand with fluidity, the whole jewel light on the finger. The GTc signature is engraved on the bezel.
On transparent, the profile floats on the hand — light passes through the plexiglass and reaches the bronze from below, a suspension effect unique to this base: black takes Caesar to his most graphic register, crisp shadows across the relief; gold is full consonance, tone on tone, warm light enveloping the portrait; pearl spreads a soft luminosity that gentles the features, keeping all their force; green is the most surprising note — freshness and antiquity together. On black, the gilded bronze lifts sharply from the dark surface with graphic definition — four colours for the intaglio, four characters: black absolute and graphic; gold enveloping the portrait in warm light; pearl luminous; green giving the portrait its imperial weight.
