Cupid and Psyche are bound together — in this ring the portrait catches them when everything has already been said, a single moment held still in time. The myth tells of two figures, and the intaglio reveals something deeper still: they are the Soul and the Body we are made of, finally meeting. She holds the vase, carrying the secret of an inner transformation and the worth of every trial overcome. He plays music, brimming with joy — a distillation of wonder that has crossed centuries, the bond between what the body feels and what the soul knows. It is a grace that belongs to things born of authenticity.

In the plexiglass of the Classic model, this age-old encounter finds a new telling. A smooth material with glossy, essential curves becomes part of the scene itself and brings everything into the present — and the story becomes something you can feel. Eight grams on the finger — a jewel generous in volume and remarkable in its lightness. Up close, the engraving reveals its quiet vibration, sharp and delicate in a subject that keeps surprising us and speaking about who we are. Ancient voices in a contemporary material: a jewel whose emotions are all there to be discovered.

The colour variants transform, lending new nuances. The orange base lights the scene with a radiant, immediate warmth. Grey gathers it into a quiet balance, giving every engraved detail its sharpest definition. Black carries the feeling to its deepest intensity — it amplifies every contrast, and black on black melts into absolute unity. Pearl softens the scene with gentle reflections of light. Pink draws out the tenderness of the encounter. Gold illuminates everything — bronze answering bronze, tone on tone, until the scene fills with a full, warm light.

Love and Psiche

Love and Psiche

Love grows when tested.

This legend tells us that Eros was always at his mother’s side assisting her in all her conniving and godly affairs. Aphrodite became jealous of the beauty of a mortal, a beautiful young woman named Psyche. In a fit of jealousy Aphrodite asked Eros to shoot his arrow into the heart of Psyche to make her fall in love with the ugliest man on earth. He agreed to carry out his mother’s wishes, but on seeing her beauty Eros fell deeply in love with Psyche himself. He would visit her every night, but he made himself invisible by telling Psyche not to light her chamber. Psyche fell in love with Eros even though she could not see him, until one night curiosity overcame her. She concealed a lamp and while Eros slept she lit the lamp, revealing the identity of Eros. But a drop of hot oil spilled from the lamp awakening the god. Angered that she had seen him Eros fled and the distraught Psyche roamed the earth trying in vain to find her lover. In the end Zeus took pity and reunited them, and he also gave his consent for them to marry. There are variations of this legend. Cupid and Psyche is a story from the Latin novel Metamorphoses, also known as The Golden Ass, written in the 2nd century AD by Apuleius.
