The frog belongs to all places and all times — it crosses cultures, epochs, materials, and stays recognisable in each one. Its nature is volatile: a symbol of transformation, of adaptability, of life beginning again. In the bezel of the EOS ring it is represented in purity: the body, the legs, the head. A cameo of a frog — all the force of the subject held in the simplicity of the intaglio’s lines. This creature inhabits different worlds with equal ease — water and land, myth and the everyday. The lines of the shank are slender, gently domed — drive and solidity together. The round bezel sits above the two elements of the base in a harmony of proportions: its perfect roundness contains the cameo and brings the subject into full light, giving the relief all the space it deserves. The bands at the base adjust — every finger finds its fit, just as the frog always finds its place. Our GTc signature is engraved on the back of the bezel. Azure, white, pearl, light green — four worlds. Azure is the sky seen from the bottom of the water — cold, precise, the moment before the leap. White declares every line of the relief: the form in its sharpest, most absolute reading. Pearl wraps the cameo in a warm, shifting light — the frog in a suspended instant.
