The tousled hair, the serene face, the body still carrying the rhythm of the dance — the Baccante in the AURA ring rests on a plexiglass base that amplifies her lightness and energetic vibration. The 18kt gilded bronze bezel is perfectly circular, with a gently curved profile that catches the light and distributes it evenly around the relief — the Baccante seems to move with the finger. The weight is lighter; the hand carries her with the same fluidity as the dance. The GTc signature engraved on the side reads like a small flourish, echoing the sense of movement.
On the black base the bronze lifts from the dark ground with graphic definition — the sharpest stage, the one that heightens the figure's dynamism. White emerges with marble clarity; pearl brings a soft, diffused light that eases the relief; porphyry merges with the depth of the ground in an ancient resonance; green creates an unexpected accord of great vitality. On tortoiseshell the amber veins run through the material differently in every piece: white stands out clearly, pearl warms against the amber streaks, porphyry deepens, green recalls the nature from which the Baccante springs — the woodland, the vine, the sap. On ivory the soft bone tone draws the jewel close to the skin: white approaches fusion with the base, pearl is natural and luminous, porphyry carries the imperial stone, green is the season at full bloom. Every combination renews the dance.
In the AURA the dance breathes — light, open, every step suspended on the plexiglass.

Often the maenads were portrayed as inspired by Dionysus into a state of ecstatic frenzy through a combination of dancing and intoxication. Historically The term maenad has come to be associated to women who worship the god, while Bacchantes had a true devotion for him. Often they are portraited with satyrs.
