The Bacchante — lips barely parted, hair gathered, the softness of her features rendered in an intaglio of extreme grace. The ring exalts this through its enveloping volumes, the bronze and its gilding brilliant along the curved lines of the bezel — a light that, through the solid band and the face slightly raised, gives prominence to the portrait that seems to narrate the very moment of the dance. In antiquity she honoured Bacchus through feasts and movement — and in this intaglio, more than a representation, she is the symbol of a moment in which the joy of the body in motion is reflected in the expression.
A jewel that perfectly synthesises this state, merging the classicism of a chevalier ring with the evocative power of intaglios that, through their colours, step fully into the present — like the Bacchante who steps outside herself to find herself again and regenerate, her roots intact and her energy alive.
Four colours, four states of the dancing body. Red is the heat that rises from the centre and climbs — the passion of movement, felt from within, immediate and vital. Azure is peaceful liberation: the sky, the breath that opens when the body truly lets go. White is total expression — everything on the surface, luminous, the Bacchante at her most radiant. Porphyry is the deepest part: introspection, the essence of identity, the silence from which every gesture is born.
A rhythm already known — the moment when following gives way to leading one's own step.
